Active Learning Methodology

There is active engagement of the child with the material and emphasis is on ‘Learning by Doing’. Children learn by doing things and thinking about what they are doing. This enthuses the children and arouses the creativity and curiosity among them.

Lakshaya is about a humanistic approach based upon philosophy that learning is interdisciplinary, integrating practical, artistic, and conceptual elements. The approach emphasizes on the aspect of developmental thinking that includes a creative as well as analytic component.

Further, Lakshaya’s active, child-centric and developmentally appropriate learning methodology is a happy-mix of teacher-directed as well as student- discovery approaches. Our teachers are facilitators of learning and address different learning styles making learning a joy for the children.

Our processes seek to foster a love for learning in children so that they become life-long learners and not just the learner in school.
